Day 1- Saturday

10:00-10:15 AM REGISTRATION

10:15-10:45 AM Introduction to Critical Appraisal and its Key Principles

Welcome and overview of the workshop objectives and agenda
Presentation on the importance of critical appraisal and its key principles

10:45-11:45 AM Group Activity – Critical Appraisal Framework

Participants will be divided into small groups of 4-6 people
Each group will be provided with a research article or case study to critically appraise
Groups will use a structured critical appraisal framework to guide their discussion and analysis

11:45-12:15 PM Prayer & Coffee Break

12:15-13:15 PM Group Discussion – Critical Appraisal Findings

Representatives from each small group will present their critical appraisal findings to the larger audience Facilitator will lead a discussion, encouraging cross-group feedback and insights
Key takeaways and common themes will be identified

13:15-13:45 PM Wrap-up and Resources

Summary of the workshop’s key learnings and skills developed
Provision of additional resources for continued critical appraisal practice
Opportunity for participants to provide feedback and ask questions
